Brinnly Ward, Eat Your Heart Out!

Jonah is bummed that his favorite show, Friday Night Lights, isn’t coming back after the writers’ strike. (***UPDATE*** It turns out the Friday Night Lights IS coming back! See the comments for more info. Jonah is elated.) He is always asking about his football buddies, and his ultimate goal is to be QB1 of the Dillon Panthers, just like Matt Saracen. He’s bulking up to go out for varsity this year, and we think he might have a chance! So we got him this Saracen jersey for Christmas, and he loves showing it off. But he does it all, of course, for his future bride, Brinnly Ward.

  1. What a hottie! But wait, who am I supposed to be? The home health nurse or Coach’s crabby daughter? My daddy won’t approve of me playing either role!

  2. Hi. My name is Kate and I work with Jonathan Ward. We were just commenting on your post about Friday Night Lights – so are they just not coming back to finish this season…or are they just cancelling the show for good? We figured you would be the best source of info since you live with Matt Saracen. Thanks :o)

  3. Well, it took some sleuthing, but apparently Friday Night Lights has NOT been canceled. According to this article,

I’m told that Jeff Zucker, Marc Graboff and Ben Silverman had been searching for a way to renew the critically acclaimed but low-rated Friday Night Lights for a 3rd season so that it would still make financial sense. The answer came in a deal with DirecTV… “It’s an innovative deal where NBC found a partner who will share costs and exhibition windows,” an insider explained to me. So both NBC and DirecTV will be airing Friday Night Lights across multipurpose platforms.
