The message there is a little heavy handed, maybe, but, a good point. If these guys can make a ‘side business’ like this why can’t you! The message at ChurchCrunch obviously directed at technologists who could create software and technology that ‘benefits’ the ‘church’. $9.95 is a bit steep for a hastily drawn cat. Although, that is the price range for a “gift exchange” we’re doing this year, so, hmmm, a bit of a gag gift, I suppose!

Your mention of the PopSci article reminds me of an old book called “A Century of Wonders: 100 Years of Popular Science”. It was cool to see the breathless coverage of new technology and the sometimes wild predictions of how it’d revolutionize our lives.
