Okay, so we have some catching up to do. So for starters…. Meet our new niece, Lily! My sister Krista finally had her baby girl after being surrounded by boys for so long. Lily was born May 18th, healthy and happy.
Kaeta is so excited about her new cousin. Every day she asks me if we can go see Baby Lily today. Or she’ll just declare that that’s what we are going to do. Here’s a picture Kaeta drew of Baby Lily on her magna-doodle the day after Lily was born (she explained that Baby Lily is wearing a dress and a hat, most likely pink):
We had the great joy of celebrating Lily’s baptism June 28th.

Jonah also LOVES Baby Lily. He cannot refrain from hugging her every chance he gets. And he is quite enthusiastic about it, too. So much so that intervention is usually necessary. He just doesn’t yet understand that Lily is not quite as squeezable as Tigger is.
